Phil, 42, runs The Sloop Public House opposite Poole Civic Centre and has been a councillor for Branksome West since 2003. He has two children (Dan 10 and Victoria 8) who were both born in Poole and who attend local schools.

A Liberal Democrat amendment to the budget that would have seen nearly a full 1% taken off this was roundly condemned and voted down by the Tories

The proposal was said to be 'offensive' and 'pandering to the public'. On May 18th Brian Clements wrote to Council Leader, Brian Leverett, demanding that he should think again about using the Council website to publish details of allowances and expenses paid to members.
